Why This Matters

Technology is reshaping every part of our lives — how we work, learn, bank, communicate, and access healthcare or government services. But millions of people remain digitally disconnected due to income, geography, language, or education gaps.

This divide doesn’t just represent a lack of internet or devices

— it represents lost opportunity, social exclusion, and economic disparity.

Modern Digital Innovation Foundation (MDIF) is working to ensure that technology becomes a tool of empowerment — not a privilege.

Our Mission

Our Mission

To make digital technology inclusive, accessible, and usable for every Indian — regardless of background, income, gender, or location.

Key Challenges

  • Limited access to affordable smartphones, computers, and internet.
  • Lack of local language content and intuitive apps for non-English users.
  • Digital illiteracy, especially among the elderly, women in rural areas, small business owners, and marginalized communities.
  • Technology that is either irrelevant or overly complex for daily needs.
  • Educational and economic systems that leave out millions from the digital economy.

Our Impact Goals

  • Enable 10 million+ citizens to confidently use essential digital tools by 2030.
  • Build a network of grassroots digital educators (Jan-Mitras) across India.
  • Influence public policy on inclusive technology, education, and access.
  • Promote the use of inclusive technology across public and private sectors.
